Description A streamlined still life in hints of honey with touches of bronze and the subtlest shades of green that invites the viewer to focus on the full trompe loeil effect of the speckled pear leaning in shadow, but touching the light. One in a series of twelve. A delectable collection of sweetness for your wall, beautifully displayed alone or in a set of your own design.
Paige Wallis, Boston, MA Member Since February 2007 Artist Statement I attended an arts based high school, Etobicoke School of the Arts, in Ontario Canada before going on to graduate from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a bfa specializing in illustration. My preferred media are watercolor and acrylic and I also enjoy creating digital works with Photoshop and Illustrator.
As an artist I enjoy exploring a variety of media and artistic genres to capture the world I see around me. While my watercolor pieces tend toward a traditional, realistic style, my acrylic works have a more modern, pop-art edge.
I greatly appreciate feedback on any/all of my work...and if you're feeling flush, why not buy some?
