Description This shows the corner of Royal and St. Peter streets in the center of the French Quarter in New Orleans. The big building in the center is known as the Pedesclaux-LeMonnier house, after its original owners, It's also referred to as 'The Skyscraper,' because it was the first four-story building in New Orleans- finished in 1811.
Bio Originally from northern Wisconsin, the artist began painting and drawing seriously as a young teen. He has done most every kind of painting, trained in classical Italian drawing, Japanese and Chinese drawing and painting, architectural drawing and rendering, and many more approaches to art, including digital imagery and photography. He has exhibited his work in many settings, from sidewalks and art fairs, to galleries, shops and restaurants, and has had numerous one-man shows and retrospectives. He lived and worked in Madison for many years and now lives in New Orleans and works at his studio - gallery in the French Quarter.
