Truly, an artist with a vision for beauty, serenity, and sometimes a quiet sense of fun." Written by my husband.
I have been an artist of some kind or another ever since I can remember. When I was in school art was always my favorite period, and I hate to say but I was a bit of a teachers pet. I have always had a thirst to learn anything I can about every medium of art.
My first experience in art was actually in poetry. I took classes when I was very young, and was published in a California book of young poets. I still write from time to time even today. The next thing that caught my interest was painting and sketches, and I spent a great deal of time in school on them. I never got into photography until around my 12th or 13th birthday when I got my first camera. It was nothing special, just a point and shoot 35mm but I loved it.
Life got complicated and I learned some jewelry skills after my first son was born. I still love jewelry making, but I adore photography. I have such a love for the outdoors, and things that most people can just pass by and not even notice.
Now living in TN with my husband I spend as much time as I can out shooting photos. My camera still isn't anything to write home about, and I have yet to be able to get any training in photography, but I love it more now than ever. I hope to one day open a studio to show my photos as well as my jewelry. Please enjoy my work.
