Description This self portrait represents strength born of the courage to work through ones fears and the kind of strength that comes with persistence and determination. I have discovered my own strength in times of great turbulence and tribulation.
Image created by photographing myself behind a tinted piece of glass, i took from my coffee table. If you look to the upper left hand corner, you can see my hand hanging onto the glass. I used a digital camera and self-timer shutter release to photograph this SP. I contorted my body a little, twisting it toward the camera overhead to pronounce muscle lines and convey strength.
About Me: I am a self-taught photographic artist. My art explores my internal landscapes, like... survivor issues, spirituality and sensuality. Much of my work is comprised of self-portraits. My intent with my creations is to be one of the connecting threads in the universal fabric we share. A detailed biography and resume can be viewed here: https://www.behance.net/jaedadewalt/resume
