Description Portland Maine street at sunset. I know this one won't sell, but I'd be rejecting myself as an artist if I didn't present it. I love this photo. It was a very cold Maine day, I was staring at a bleak street where graffiti smeared a deaf child's protective sign, ready to go inside for warmth. Then the setting sun bathed the street in gorgeous light - hopeful, democratic light - and I was glad I hadn't given up.
