Description Golden hues and a deep red glow create an atmospheric feel to this landscape image as the sun sets over the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire with a field of straw bales ready for collection by the farmer. This is a High Dynamic Range (HDR) picture created using 3 different exposures and processed in 16bit via Photoshop.
Jason Wickens, Worcester Member Since December 2007 Artist Statement
I have been taking photos for years but only seriously got into it when I bought my Nikon D50 which opened my eyes to the possibilities that digital photography presents. I love nature so a lot of my pictures are landscape work.
Most of my photographs can also be bought in the UK from my website Fotoviva Canvas Art Prints as poster and canvas prints. I also sell work by a few selected other photographers there. There are many categories such as black and white, modern art, landscape photography and fine-art scenes. The collection is growing all the time and customers seem very pleased with the store and their canvas prints.
I also have a Photoblog which has photography and art news, plus Photoshop tutorials and all the latest about the Fotoviva canvas and poster prints store.
Most of my art images are processed in 16bit in Photoshop after being shot in RAW format to ensure optimum quality when printed.
