Description Before trucking took over, the cotton Plantations (they are still called that) moved bales up and down river by barge to the rail yards. This old drawbridge allowed the barges to pass. It has been torn down.
Doug Allen, Skene, Mississippi Member Since December 2008 Artist Statement Member of XGI, that proud old fraternity. I'm a construction project manager in Mississippi so I travel alot and never leave home without my trusty Nikons. I shoot mainly for the Decor/wall art market and sell through local art and frame outlets.
I'm interested in feedback, good or bad. Thanks for taking the time to look at my work. By the way, I'm humbled by the quality I see in the other artists galleries.
