Artist Statement When painting it is my goal to celebrate the color and light that I find in my subjects. I enjoy setting up still life compositions in my studio and paint listening to my favorite musical play lists. And then on a sunny day I like to take my palette and easel outside with the hope of capturing some special scenic mood or interplay of shadows against architectural objects. It is always an honor when a viewer resonates with that particular experience!
