DescriptionThe Terrace of the Elephant is part of the walled city of Angkor Thom, a ruined temple complex in Cambodia. The terrace was used by Angkor's king Jayavarman VII as a platform from which to view his victorious returning army. The terrace is named for the carvings of elephants on its eastern face.
Souvik Bhattacharya, Singapore Member Since June 2009 Artist Statement My interest about photography started 5 years back. It all began with an Olympus film camera and couple of my portrait and landscape shots were highly appreciated. From then this photography bug got in my mind and after that in another couple of years end up buying Sony Cybershot DSC-H1which was my first step to digital world of photography.
Around couple of years back entered DSLR world and result was quiet promising which in same time also very encouraging to go beyond limits.
