The Tumble Wheel
The universe is a kaleidoscope. One cosmic turn of the wheel, one small shift, and the design changes. All the colored bits and pieces form a whole new pattern.
That pattern can be painful; if sharp edges rub mercilessly alongside round soft protuberances in the maze, blood will flow. Then its time for bandages and balm, and hopefully a haven where you can hide and heal. If all the curves and angles align serendipitously, however, a bright clear byway strewn with stars and magick opens up, pulling you along with irresistible magnetism.
Theres no predicting what the next adjustment will bring. You can wonder and guess and dream, but until the hand of fate presents it to you as unavoidable as death and taxes its a waiting game.
The universe is mercurial; it whirls and spins the wheel in its own sweet time. Worry is useless; hope is smoke. You just wait, sometimes for a heartbeat, sometimes for the next blue moon, until it happens. 2012 RC deWinter
