Artist Statement Art to bring joy, quickly reminding us of the beauty of endless possibilities. I studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I have worked at Pixar Animation Studios as a Technical Director and at Schawk as a research artist. I'm now a stay at home father doing all forms of art and multimedia on my own terms. Enjoy!

I have drawn pictures ever since I can remember. Artistic expression is deeply embedded in my physical, emotional, and spiritual existence. As I grow, my work becomes less about my individual hand and more about universal creativity. My themes are the dance of life and of ultimate consciousness expressed through the human form.

I use improvisation to make work that comes from the soul, deeply expressing the abundant creative energy of this universe. I also seem drawn to minimalist beauty, the concept of the artistic frenzy, and transcendental art. This is because the story of my life is full of transcendental experiences. When art is truthful, it speaks from experience, and my experience is inherently joyful. Thus, my work is a reflection of the joy that has graced my experience.

I make special intentions to let the work free of the mind, to provide windows of form that remind viewers of the inherent beauty and grace in existence itself. Consider purchasing a print to add a special splash of imaginative color to your living space.
