Description Botticellis 'The Birth of Venus' is among the most treasured masterpieces of the Renaissance. He depicts the beautiful, pagan goddess of love Venus, as a symbol of the coming spring. In my opinion one of the most important aspects of this painting is woman sensuality. She is depicted as an icon of desire and sensual perfection, and I tried to highlight this side of Botticellis Venus in my artwork.
