Deann Scott, St. George's Member Since November 2012 Artist Statement Deann is a nurse by profession, but shares a passion for art and the outdoors. Her love for art grew wings after completing an ICS correspondence course in art, followed by her practice from a book painting serries by William Bill Alexander and his other partners. Many of the paintings featured here were completed following instructions and techniques from William Alexander.
During the period 1992-1993, Deann started her own local television series entitled "The Magic of Oil Painting" Many of the pieces featured here were created during a live studio TV show.
Deann's work has been featured in various art exhibitions locally over the years, and some has even won special mention.
