DescriptionI recorded this image of the Henryton Railroad Tunnel, in Marriottsville, Maryland, using a Zero Image 2000 wood/brass pinhole camera, on medium format black/white film. The pinhole's perspective adds to the 'length effect' of this railroad tunnel, still in use today, and marked at the top with the word 'Henryton'. It's very near the old Henryton Mental Asylum.

I am a scientist, astronomer, mathematician, and engineer by trade, and a pinhole photographer by passion. Though I occasionally do "lensed photography", I generally do work with pinhole and zone plate cameras, where no lens is used. I work with either large format (4x5) or medium format film.
