Description Ebbets Field was the home of the Brooklyn Dodgers from 1913-1957. When the team headed west the ballpark was replaced by a high-rise housing complex with same name. More than 50 years later baseball fans still travel to the corner of McKeever and Sullivan places in search of the ghosts of baseball past.
