Description Famous for it's romantic appeal, as a centerpiece in WWII, and for one hauntingly youthful moment at 2 a.m. when I was 18 and first saw it face to face. I think everyone who has been to Paris, France has their own relationship with the Eiffel Tower. I hope you see some of yours in this photograph.
Tim Putnam, Franklin, TN Member Since July 2007 Artist Statement I was born and grew up in Missouri before attending Mercersburg Academy in Pennsylvania. At an early age my father surrounded me with cameras. We had a dark room in the basement where he, and later my brother, would develop and print photos. My curiosity bloomed later and it wasn't until my college years that I ran across an old medium format Yashika set. I relearned the basics from my friend David Maxwell who is an accomplished photographer in his own right, and I have been shooting ever since.
I am also a contributing author in "A Guitar and a Pen," a book of short stories written by songwriters including Kris Kristoffersen, Charlie Daniels, Tia Sillers, Robert Hicks, and many others.
