Description This is typical Phuket postcard shot of long tail boat. As we have seen them many times so tried something different composition from very low angle. This angle helps to show bottom of the boat through crystal clear water and length of the boat too.The location was Monkey Island in Koh Phi Phi Don.The Phi Phi Islands are located in Thailand, between the large island of Phuket and the western Andaman Sea coast of the mainland. Koh Phi Phi was devastated by the Indian Ocean tsunami of December 2004, when nearly all of the island's infrastructure was wiped out.
Souvik Bhattacharya, Singapore Member Since June 2009 Artist Statement My interest about photography started 5 years back. It all began with an Olympus film camera and couple of my portrait and landscape shots were highly appreciated. From then this photography bug got in my mind and after that in another couple of years end up buying Sony Cybershot DSC-H1which was my first step to digital world of photography.
Around couple of years back entered DSLR world and result was quiet promising which in same time also very encouraging to go beyond limits.
