Description One cold winter morning, in Columbia, Maryland, I was taking a walking near a lake in the fog. I enjoyed the peace and quiet beneath the bare branches, my feet pushing through fallen leaves carpeting the path. I took this photo with my Zero Image 4x5 (large format) film pinhole camera, on a tripod.

I am a scientist, astronomer, mathematician, and engineer by trade, and a pinhole photographer by passion. Though I occasionally do "lensed photography", I generally do work with pinhole and zone plate cameras, where no lens is used. I work with either large format (4x5) or medium format film.
