DescriptionA PERSPECTIVE ABOUT OLD BARNSHe said,” you couldn't get paint that beautiful”, for a new country home he's building down the road. Only years of standing in the weather, bearing the storms and scorching sun, only that can produce beautiful barn wood.It came to me then. We're a lot like that, you and I.Only it's on the inside that the beauty grows with us.Sure we turn silver gray too... and lean a bit more than we did when we were young and full of sap.But the Good Lord knows what He's doing. And as the years pass He's busy using the hard weather of our lives,The dry spells and the stormy seasons do a job of beautifying our souls that nothing else can produce. And to think how often folks holler because they want life easy!
Lee Mascarello, Columbus, Ohio Member Since August 2008 Artist Statement Thank you for visiting my gallery and I hope you view a few of the images. Your comments are invited ,whether positive or negative.
I came to this point of my life after traveling a long winding route. I served as a Navy Photographer from 1960 to 1964 shooting stills and movies all over the world. The next 45 years were spent as a developer, real estate broker and general contractor. I am retired and living in Columbus,Ohio; and now renewing my passion in photography.
I feel privileged to be chosen as a 'Featured Artist' for the 4th time and pray to God He'll bless me again from time to time.
I hope you"ll like my work enough to hang it in your home or office.
