Description This is Ginette in front of a huge flag. I was touring The USS Yorktown at Patriots point in Mount Pleasant South Carolina. It's across the bridge from Charleston. There is an aircraft carrier, a destroyer, and a submarine at a museum. I bumped my head pretty bad going down tight stairs on the ship. I did not go in to the submarine. That would have freaked me out too tight of a space. I enjoyed my day seeing all the things on the ship. There is a tunnel you go through where war noises and images are recreated that surround you everywhere throughout the tunnel, and that was intense.
Ginette Callaway, Lovejoy Member Since March 2007 Artist Statement I am an independent, self supporting artist, working full time on my art. I absolutely love what I do. Creating art consumes me. I paint original art with oil paints, watercolors, also ink and pastel. Additionally I use the photos of my art or scans to create mixed media, where I use digital tools to layer texture or change the colors of these original paintings. Not a day goes by where I don't create something new.
If you want an original painted just for you, contact me. I take requests on my website.

I was born in Alsace France and from childhood on, I had Art and a Love for Nature and beauty in my blood. In my younger years I traveled and saw a bit of the world. After moving to the Unites States I became a full time artist with collectors from all over the world.
