Description This painting represents another idea that I have had for a while before my paintings began. Jesus gave his life on the cross for each of our sins. He faced the ultimate physical pain and humiliation, but rose to victory 3 days later. In the painting, Jesus is nailed to the cross, but also crushing the head of a snake. Of course this didn’t physically happen. The snake represents Satan (and ultimately sin). The painting shows the Lord Jesus Christ defeating them both by sacrificing Himself.Original Painting is acrylic on 24” X 48” stretched canvas.
