DescriptionThis was a commissioned piece I did for Westchester Magazine, for a story celebrating the history of Westchester County towns. The illustration was created in pen & ink and watercolor. I would suggest one of the larger print sizes, as the piece is quite detailed. (The original art measures approximately 12-1/2' high by 19' high.) It was a lot of fun to do, and would be a great addition to any Westchester aficionado's collection!
Jennifer Thermes, Northeastern USA Member Since April 2009 Artist Statement I am a children's book author and illustrator living in a very, very old house with my family-- including our dog, cats, mice, and assorted other critters that come and go as they please. I also create whimsical illustrated maps for different clients, and have probably traveled the entire world... through my pens and paints. It's an interesting life!
Over the years people have asked if they could purchase prints of my artwork, so I decided make some of my favorites available through Imagekind. I also blog about current works-in-progress at www.art-words-life.blogspot.com and on my Facebook page, if you'd like to visit. Thanks for stopping by! --Jennifer
