____________________________________________ The Enchantresss Confession
This hearts a poisoned well, A deep dislimning void, Dip not the cup to drink - Beware the skull and bones.
This hearts a block of ice, A spiderweb of cold, Touch not unless well-gloved, The permafrost can kill.
This hearts a thorny bud, A Rappaccini rose, Breathe not the dense perfume, Lest midnight take you down.
This hearts a sour fruit, A feral juiceless orb, Taste not of leathern flesh, Keep teeth and tongue pristine.
This hearts not meant for man Nor beast, if truth be told, A stone in sorrows shoe, An acidsplash - perdu. 2010 Regina Coeli deWinter____________________________________________ Digital oils; the rosebush and foliage are adapted from an original photograph shot October 22, 2010.____________________________________________ This is an ART for Cancer Group image. 25% of all sales of this picture will be donated to the Susan G.
