Artist Statement I have drawn all of my life! I worked with oil, watercolor and finally ink and I love it! The method I use is stippling, which is where I apply marks (dots) by hand using a magnifing glass. It takes me about 250 hours to complete, for a large picture but I truly enjoy this medium.
I studied art at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. My husband, Alan, and I then moved to California where I continued my studies. There was a pause in my drawing when I raised my children, but picked it right back up as soon as I could. Now I have my puppy, Tickles, to take care of, however, she enjoys watching me draw!
