DescriptionThis is one of the entrances to the Metro, Mexico City's subway system. It is large and runs well. It is also over crowded so if you don't have to, avoid traveling at rush hour(s). At the time a ticket cost 1.5 pesos. now, 2007, it costs 2 pesos. They are in the process of adding prepaid and rechargeable cards, perhaps in 2008? The subway is obviously subsidized by the Mexico DF (Distrito Federal) government.
