Artist Statement PharaohHound is a young, former homeschooler who makes her home in the beautiful province of Nova Scotia, Canada. She has been taking photographs since she was thirteen, and acquired her first DSLR (a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi, which still serves her faithfully) three years later.

PharaohHound strives to take meaningful portraits of her favourite subjects, animals. She is the proud owner of a two-year-old Brittany named Mick Jagger. She also owns two cats, and a couple of fish.
