Artist Statement Growing up as a military kid, I grew to love the different "textures" of the world around me ~ the sights, sounds, smells and activity of the communities in which we lived. My father enjoyed capturing that "texture" in film and video ~ I have inherited that enjoyment and on any given day I can spend hours capturing the texture of the world around me.
