Artist Statement My name is Annya Eyestone. I am a Russian-born American photographer currently living and working in Okinawa, Japan. Having been raised in a creative family I've always had a passion for the visual arts including photography. It has later lead me to pursue an education in graphic design. While living in Okinawa I have been greatly inspired by the unique local life and influenced by the circle of photography professionals. I decided to advance my photography further and develop it more seriously. Using my background in graphic design, I enhance my work digitally and experiment with different techniques, particularly HDR (High Dynamic Range imagery).
