Description The afternoon had been dreary, overcast and rainy. We were just peeling off our soaked hiking gear when the sun dropped below the clouds to drench everything in an eerie yellow-orange glow. Taken in the town of Fox Glacier, New Zealand, in March 2009 without filters or other color manipulation.
Petra Sonderegger, Hyderabad Member Since August 2007 Artist Statement I've been taking pictures ever since I bought my first SLR when I was 16. Saving the money for it took weeks of working at an ice cream stand - and I still couldn't afford autofocus. But it was worth every sun burn, and I've been clicking away ever since.
