Artist Statement Photography has been a long time interest of mine. I received my first "box" camera from my Dad at the age of 7.

When digital photography became popular, my creative urge exploded. Combining my interest in computers with my passion of photography and the love of the outdoors, I have devoted many hours scanning the beaches or tromping through any given terrain; in the wind, rain, ice, and even the sun to find those scenic shots that exaggerate the natural beauty of Oregon. The finished photos bring a sense of satisfaction and pleasure to me when they do justice to the intent of the capture.

Each day, as new photo opportunities arise and more knowledge is gained, I see no end in continuing to produce breathtaking and mood creating works, welcoming anyone interested in sharing all that is good contained in the view I perceives from behind my camera.
