Artist Statement I always drawn to draw. This habit usually stops at a certain age and girls pick up something different to do. Dolls, Tea time, doll houses. Not me. Drawing is my passion for life. After extensive studies in art and figure drawings in my native country Hungary, life took me to New York City where I earned an AOS degree in illustration at the Pratt Institute.

My subjects - Simple theme(s) usually a single subject with complex beauty. In my pencil drawings I am not looking for the effect of a photographic copy of the subject, although the high details might suggest that. My focus is that special expression which can last forever. Somewhat similar to a photographic moment.

I am most inspired by the works of Leonardo Da Vinci, Arthur Rackham, and the hungarian Peter Balogh. I truly admire the paintings of Van Hals, and the works of Ansel Adams.

In my spare time I enjoy gardening, hiking, dogshows and photography.
