Description This was taken in the surrounding country at a town called George in South Africa (2008).I took this a while ago but I remember this to be my first real RAW edit. I wasn't sure if it was worth the effort but in the end I got so much detail out of the image I never looked back!I walked for miles and miles already up at around 5 or 6. The light that day was lovely. Dark brooding clouds with striking patches of light. A fog suddenly appeared from nowhere and engulfed me in this valley. Oh yes, and I remember a bull who started galloping toward me and later a horse who stomped the ground and wasn't too happy I'm there. What the hell is it with me and farm animals?
Gustav Snyman, Ladismith Member Since February 2011 Artist Statement I am a Graphic Designer from South Africa who has been Freelancing since the beginning of this year.
My Design career started when I worked as a apprentice goldsmith for Rodenhurst Jewelers many moons ago. Made a quick career shift into graphic design when I was asked to help with some promotional material for music artists. It was around then that I got it into my head I needed a degree. So I went to university, got my BA in Graphics and worked at two firms over the course of 3 years. Great experience!
While working at a company called Kappikappi I bought myself a Canon S5 IS and it could be said that this was the start of my love for light.
Right now I am seeing where life is going to lead me next!
