Description This photo was taken at a special garden in Hamilton where colors and purfumes fill the air. I was inspired by a sprinkler and the many textures and colours present. The simple swirling in this photo gives a uniquie photo to create discussion.

Artist Statement Hi, I'm currently a studying full time to become a primary school teacher.

My interests include: my children, photography and socialising with my friends.

Photography for me allows me to be aware of my surroundings and to use my interest in art and computers together. I love to explore Hamilton, (the city I live in) and other places I visit with my children and take opportunities which are presented to us to photograph what we see.

Often when I am browsing through my photos, I will noticed the detail in each picture and it encourages both my children and I to go out and look further at the amazing scenery NZ has to off.

On the larger scale of life, photography helps us to look outwardly at the ever changing world and to appreciate what we have in our lives.

As I am in my final year at University, where I am training to become a primary school teacher, I intend to use this special interest into my own classroom next year where I hope to inspire the children I teach.
