Description American Clown School and Museum Lake Placid, FL The mural reflects the enrollment in clown school to be- a clown! Remember those parades that featured the Shriners with clowns that made us laugh?- well a Shriner, Keith Toby Stokes began spending time in Lake Placid, but missed being a Shrine clown when he was down south. He organized the first class of clowns and graduated 6 clowns. Now more than 2500 clowns have graduated from the American Clown School. They bring joy and laughter to thousands of kids at parades and functions and also to children who are ill and in the hospital. at Toby the Clown Foundation.
