Artist Statement Though I photograph primarily for my own enjoyment, I have worked in the past coordinating editorial work for a well-known photo agency and will occasionally take on projects for friends and acquaintances.


The aspect of photography I most enjoy is the ability of the camera to make something special of an otherwise ordinary moment. A split second in the day of a passerby can become something broadly meaningful if captured in the right light. I like to think the camera remembers all the rushed moments we forget. I also try to experiment with angles, perspective, and light to find the abstract in the everyday.
