Description Acrylic painting of the SR-71 Black bird. Painting shows the plane landing with its shoot out. Also shows plane in flight. In the forground you will find red wing black birds watching. I really enjoyed this painting. The SR-71 is one of my favorite planes. I saw one retire when I was in San Antonio, they said the Black bird just left Los Angelis, and in less than 15 minutes it was flying over us. Too Cool! You could tell the pilot did not want to land, he kept flying around, using up the gas I would guess, but when he finally landed the shoot was opened, and that was fun to watch. That helps slow the plane down. The red of the shoot reminded me of the red on the wings of the Blackbirds.
