The Blackpool Tower is an iconic and distinctive landmark of Blackpool and the highlight of the famous Blackpool illuminations. Seen here in a myriad of colours. The War Memorial is a granite obelisk, erected on Princes Parade, alongside the North Pier. The memorial was dedicated, and unveiled by Brigadier General T E Topping, on 10th November 1923.
