Artist Statement I am a 34 year old Portland native who discovered drawing after the age of 30, a very organic process which became a portal from professional athlete to artist. Drawing has fulfilled my eagerness to accomplish and learn everyday with the same intensity I once felt as a professional BMX rider. The feeling of completing a 100+ hour piece is something I cannot describe using words, however the energy can still be felt looking back through the tiniest details in my work. It all started with a pen, piece of paper and just one goal of just having fun and enjoying myself; I start every piece with the same mindset as I strive to create and learn more everyday on this self taught pen scribbling adventure.
