Description I did the bone series while I was living in San Antonio, Texas. The light there is so different from the East Coast light. The low humidity makes colors appear very bright and white objects reflect the hues of the rainbow. I came across a complete skeleton of a cow as I was walking in field on a friends ranch. I took home the skull, the hip and thigh bone and painted this series as a study of light and color relations
