Artist Statement Ana Rosa is an Artist known for her Pin Up Girl Art inspired Glitter Girls series and lovely images of sparkling mermaids. She finds muse in Marilyn Monroe and Bettie Page to create her playful and glamorous paintings and illustrations, while endless summers on Cape Cod gave life to her enchanting mermaids who born off the coast of an afternoon daydream. Recently, AnaRosa created a special mermaid illustration that made it's debute in a short British short film called 'Tail’s End’. AnaRosa is also an advocate for animal rights so she creates fun, playful Pop Art portraits of pets and donates to local and national charities. Her paintings are in private collections around the world.
