Description One of my favorite places on the coast of Virginia is Chincoteague Island. The marshes have a etherial, magical atmosphere at dawn and dusk each day , which inspired my view with an impressionist twist.

Artist Statement My subject matter is the world around me... I am endlessly interested in nature, travel, people, and those are the things I love to paint. I travel as much as I can, and am never without my sketchbook, watercolors, and camera, capturing what I can to bring back to my studio for further examination. I adore paint! I adore color!
