Artist Statement Born on Long Island, New York in 1953. I studied Graphic Design and Illustration at SUNY Farmingdale, Long Island, School of Visual Arts Manhattan, NY, Arts Student League, Manhattan and Woodstock NY, and the Woodstock School of Art, NY.

My work explores the relationship between the traditional methods and techniques of art with the current awareness of a new age of creativeness. With influences as diverse as Van Gogh and Susan Rothenberg, I find inspiration that embraces new technology and produces art that is influenced by the masters of contemporary art.

Ever since I was young I have been fascinated by the use of color and form and nature of the mind. What starts out as observation soon becomes exploration of space and time, leaving only a sense of a new reality and the dawn of a new direction. As wavering forms become frozen through studious and diverse practice, the viewer is left with a new impression of the undefined.
