Artist Statement I am an Artist currently living in the Des Moines Iowa area. I absolutely love photography and Digital Painting. It took a long time to be able to open myself up and let all my thoughts, emotions, vulnerabilities , and strengths flow into my images. It took even longer to show them to people. Everyone views art differently; some people can tell what the artist was feeling at the time, what the artist wanted to show and share with you, while some merely see a pretty picture. I often wonder when people see my work with their eyes open wide if they can see all that I am, all that I have been through and all that I try to be. I am just glad to let my armor down a little and capture what has been hiding inside me for so long, and share it with people who truly understand
