Artist Statement “Abstract art uses a visual language of form, color and line to create a composition which exists independently of visual references to the world.”

When applied through the lens of a camera, stripping away the recognizable aspects of the subject matter produces abstractions with an intrinsic value unlike any other form of traditional photography.

Abstract Photography has an almost mesmerizing effect on its audience. It's like a magnetic challenge for the mind when attempting to figure out of what the photograph was taken. Once revealed, being able to wrap one's brain around the image of the familiar subject becomes yet a new challenge.

The photographic artistry is redefined time and time again in the imaginative interpretations that spawn from each individuals' own creative discoveries within the same piece of artwork.
