Artist Statement Bill Billec is a graphic designer, painter, and photographer, born in Lakewood, NJ in 1965 and now lives in South Orange, NJ. He holds a BFA degree from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY.

His work has appeared in various literary magazines and book covers and has exhibited at the Grace Gallery, Brooklyn, NY, Ralyn Art Center, NJ and Montclair State University Gallery, NJ.

The artist says of his work, "I like to create surreal, playful imagery. Photograph the ordinary and render it to look extraordinary. I see life in the often overlooked still images. I like to mix these images with mixed ideas, mixed emotions and mixed colors."
