Artist Statement Pennsylvania Artist Veronica Muse is a self taught freelance artist. She did her first shows , commissions and sold her early works in California in the mid 1970's. Her background includes billboard artwork, truck art lettering and design as well as commercial window art and murals.
Presently her art can be found and seen at various exhibitions, juried and non-juried shows , fairs and events in Pennsylvania. She uses various mediums but favors oils. Her art has an inspiring beauty that draws from a variety of influences, references, and natural elements. When the weather permits she paints plein air , drawing from the sights around her.
Veronica currently resides in the beautiful mountains of West Central Pennsylvania with her dogs. Veronica when not painting , puts time in the art of writing. She has many poems to her credit as well as appearing in published antholigies.
