Description This is a grouping of 4 pink Lady Slippers(Cypripedium acaule) which are a member of the Orchid family, and grow in the wooded areas. They are rapidly declining due to loss of habitat.They also are found in white as well as yellow which are the most rare. They bloom once a year in mid Spring. It is illegal to pick them in some states. So the only way to enjoy them in your home is in this form unless you find someone who cultivates them.This shows the flower in it's natural habitat. This was taken alongside a trail on a mountainside. They grow not only in groups like this one but also as singles. They are very delicate species and have a root system very close to the surface of the ground. 'The colors are sharp and crisp. It is very detailed and shows textures beautifly.

Artist Statement I have been doing professional photography since 2007. It is my passion to create something or visually document things for others, be it pets, locations, people, nature, wildlife, events or what have you, I'll photograph it.
My personal favorite gallery is my flora gallery which is focused on plant photography. It has things from Lady Slippers, roses, Spring plants, plants found in the woods, rare plants, mushrooms and more.

My Wild life Birds Of New England gallery has some beautiful pieces with close-up of a Great Blue Heron, a Blue Heron Rookery as well as Hawks, and more birds.

My black and whites are any photograph that is best viewed without color. They make stark statements and provoke deep inner feelings for many.

All photography of The White Mountains and Great Northwoods are places I have visited and love dearly. Places out of the ordinary for most of us. They show how the Mountains look at different times of year and also show the vast differences you can find amongst the White Mountains.

Industrialism photography is one that provokes many emotions from me from the bare necessity of industry to the pain of seeing the trees and nature disrupted.

Everything I photograph is something I find beautiful, rare or makes some kind of statement, be it a good thing or just plain raw emotional pain for what is happening, happened or how it will affect those around it.

I enjoy location photography, because it gives me the opportunity to share part of my life and the place I visit with others. I rarely use artificial backgrounds with my portraits, unless someone wants something imparticular that can't be done by other means.

This site is my personal photography, of things I want to share with others. This is only a sampling of what I have available.

These photos are for the corporate world as well as the public to enjoy. I always try to present the very best photography for others to enjoy.
