DescriptionA cold morning along Rimrock lake where the fog began to lift as the early morning sun burned trhough the mist. The footsteps were my own gathering the groundwater from the wet soil. I looked by and the scene sent a chill down my spine as I began to see the message of in what or whose steps was I following. Follow the light it seemed to speak to me.
Mike Dawson, Yakima, Wa Member Since March 2007 Artist Statement I have been behind a camera for over 27 years now. Everything from 4x5 to 35mm to now digital. My passion is the beauty of God's creations on this wonderful earth. I am constantly chasing the light from The PAcific NW to the Desert SW and down to Australia in search of images that best capture the beauty of the moment. All my images here are captured in digital format from 6mp with most at 21.5 mp on the Canon 5DMKII using the finest optics and filters I can find. I hope you enjoy my work, I feel blessed to share it with you. From February 24 to April 26th I will donating 50% of all commissions earned on my artwork to March of Dimes.
