Description Glacier Point is one of the most awe-inspiring vistas of Yosemite. As I stood and focused my camera on this scene, I felt as though I were looking onto another planet - another world - infinity. The waterfalls - looking like tiny rivulets of water - are actually gigantic. The flat surface of 'Half Dome' is captured on the far upper left. There is no doing this scene justice, but I could do no better.
Jane Spencer, Punxsutawney Member Since February 2008 Artist Statement When I'm sitting behind my desk every day, I'm wishing I could be out with my camera - or in sites like this one - expending my energy in ways that move my soul. So . . . I work too late at night . . . and sleep too little . . . and still feel blessed to be able to be involved with something I love so much. I do appreciate your interest and once I get a presence established, I will be visiting the talented members portfolios to show my appreciation to you. Thanks again for being here. Jane
