Description In my whole family including uncles aunts, there were no other girls. So I grew up with all boys. They did not want me around. If they did it was to set me up sort some sort of a trick. They once threw me in the creek, hit me in the head with a wooden shoe one day, scared me when I was in the outhouse and so on. My cousins from one of my aunts were a bit nicer. It was mostly the friends of all the the boy relatives, that were the worst. But I got some of them back good. I gave my brother a 'cookie' but it was really a dog biscuit. He ate some of it, but it did taste right, so I told him. I had to learn to run fast. I felt very bad I did that.Ink and Mouse drawing
Ginette Callaway, Lovejoy Member Since March 2007 Artist Statement I am an independent, self supporting artist, working full time on my art. Full time means about on average 12 hours a day seven days a week. This is how I pay my bills. However I absolutely love what I do. Creating art consumes me. I paint original art with oil paints, watercolors, also ink and pastel. Additionally I use the photos of my art or scans to create mixed media, where I use digital tools to layer texture or change the colors of these original paintings. Not a day goes by where I don't create something new.
If you want an original painted just for you, contact me. I take requests on my website.

I was born in Alsace France and from childhood on, I had Art and a Love for Nature and beauty in my blood. In my younger years I traveled and saw a bit of the world. After moving to the Unites States I became a full time artist with collectors from all over the world.
